At last…Carnival come back! 2 Trini rums for the road. 🇹🇹

Today is Carnival Tuesday around the world, including the mecca Trinidad!

Here are 2 Trini rums overflowing in cups on the road today, both made by Angostura:

WHITE OAK

White Oak is a road staple, mixing great with juices and bubbly mixers, and keeping masquerades energy high for hours. Try: White Oak + lemonade / limeade, White Oak + LLB, or White Oak + ginger ale with a splash of lime juice.

White Oak is available in several flavors, including one of my favorites: sorrel! Though I haven’t yet graced Trinidad with my presence, White Oak is a must-have in my apartment bar for mojitos and rum mules.

PUNCHEON

A stronger option than White Oak, Puncheon is for more adventurous masqueraders craving rum with even more oomph.

Try: Puncheon + coconut water, Puncheon + lime juice, or Puncheon + ginger ale with a splash of hydrate.

Lastly, don’t forget to hydrate hydrate hydrate on the road — the sun is sneakier than you think!
